This advertisement appeared in Al Ahram on September 11, 1928 to promote at show at the Printania Theater, which Egyptians pronounced as "Brentania". It's interesting that in 1928 Mounira Al-Mahdiya was known as the Star of the East long before Oum Kalthoum was.

Priscilla is a dancer of Lebanese heritage who enjoys researching the Golden Era of Egyptian dance. She owns a collection of more than one hundred classic black and white Egyptian films which is continually expanding.
