There are versions of this video released by different video producers: Kino, Image Entertainment, and Gotham. When a company releases a home video version of a silent movie, it needs to add a music soundtrack. Each does this in its own way, so different editions have different music. For example, the Kino version is played by an orchestra, but a different version might select different songs in some places and perform the music on a Wurlitzer organ. Another difference can be inclusion of different extras on the DVD versions. The Kino Video box set includes not only The Thief of Bagdad but also The Mark of Zorro, Don Q the Son of Zorro, The Three Musketeers, Robin Hood, and The Black Pirate
