The vocalist that made this song famous was Fairuz, accompanied by the Rahbani Brothers. Her CD titled Fairuz--Damascus Festival 1960 By The Rahbani Brothers has a nice 3-minute recording of it. It is track 18 on the CD, and the title is spelled as Nehna Wel Qamar. This should be available from most vendors that specialize in selling Arabic music.
Another recording of Nahna Wil Kamar Jeeraan appears on John Bilezikjian's cassette tape, La Danse Orientale. It appears on Side 1, under the complete routine titled "Sallamah's Pleasure", as the second song. On this recording, the song title is spelled as "Nihna Wil Amar Jiran". The length is 2:55. This should be available from most vendors who sell belly dance supplies in general and include recordings played by musicians in the U.S. as part of their product line.
An instrumental recording, played on electronic keyboard, appears on Oriental Mood: Modern Instrumental Hits From Lebanon, played by Jacques Kodjian. The length is 2:55. This particular recording made me think of a smokey lounge in an obscure hotel because Kodjian played it in a jazzy style. It is track 3 on the CD, and the title is spelled as Nahna Wal Amar. This should be available from most vendors that specialize in selling Arabic music.
