Me'ira, also known as JOYFUL DANCER, created this artwork
as part of a collection of clip art that she will be selling
on CD-ROM. She has graciously agreed to have selected images
from her new collection be available to you for electronic postcards.

Me'ira has been dancing since about 1987. She has studied
various middle eastern dance styles, gypsy fusion, Persian, and
Central Asian. She has performed at the Denver Natural History
Museum, and given lecture demos for dance classes at Colorado
State University. Me'ira is the author a booklet on the history
of the dance which was published by the Society for Creative
Anachronism. She is currently organizing a new tribal belly dance
troupe called NOUVEAU NOMADS with co-director Nancy Montgomery
(Nazmiye). |
